Prior to entering my PhD program I worked in a professional capacity serving individuals on the Autism Spectrum for 6 years. The majority of this time was devoted to providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents at various points along the spectrum. The focus of this therapy was on the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills. More recently, I served as an intake/assessment coordinator for an employment services agency tasked with finding and maintaining competitive employment for young adults on the spectrum.
Currently, I’m working on finishing my PhD in the Joint Doctoral Program in Special Education at University of California, Berkeley and San Francisco State University.
